Sheltered Employment gives individuals the opportunity to work and earn money with ongoing supervision on sub-contract jobs from area industries.  Individuals in this program are referred through the Warren County Human Services.

Job Skills Training

Job Skills Training is provided to all individuals in sheltered employment.  If an individual is having difficulty with a particular job, the job skills trainer works with him/her, making any necessary accommodations or adaptations to enable the person to do the job and to increase skills, abilities, and earning power.

Work Study

Work Study is an opportunity for high school students to gain work experience and earn money while in school.  Sponsored by the Warren County School District, students may come to the workshop two hours a day for up to five days each week throughout the school year.

Vocational Evaluation

Vocational Evaluation provides a thorough work assessment of the individual through formal testing, work sampling, and community based assessments where you can try out actual jobs.  The evaluation is customized to the individual needs and provides the person with information relevant to successful employment, career planning, or further education.  Individuals are referred through the Office of Vocational Evaluation and the Warren County School District.

Personal Work Adjustment Training usually follows a vocational assessment and allows the individual to work in the sheltered workshop earning money while he/she develops the necessary skills for employment.
